Conklin Endura Fountain Pen

The Conklin Endura fountain pen was produced from the mid 1920s to early 1930s. They were very well made pens and made with durable bodies that have stood up well over the years. The Endura was made out of either a hardened rubber compound or plastic and quickly became the most popular fountain pen of its day.

The Endura was available in a range of colors that depended on the material used. The hard rubber pens were available in either red, black or mahogany while the plastic pens were available in black, red, verde green, black and pearl, lapis blue , black and bronze or purple and yellow. Collectors can still find copies of the original pens in very good condition with the main problems coming with the spring clip which is prone to breaking.

Conklin have since recently re-issued the Endura Collection which is based on the design of the original Endura but with the benefit of more modern features. The new Endura fountain pens are made from a specially designed acrylic and come in three marble colors as well as a solid black. A solid sterling band and clip etched with the Conklin trademark adorns the pen and the nib is made from 18kt gold.

Whether you’re looking for the new Conklin Endura Collection or a vintage Conklin Endura, you will be sure to find something of interest at The Calligraphy Pen Store.
